Marc Hassberger has a comprehensive experience in all fields of litigation, both commercial and private, as well as in arbitration proceedings. He represents clients on a regular basis in front of Swiss jurisdictions or arbitration courts in financial and commercial proceedings, including labor law disputes, attachments and other provisional measures.

Marc also specializes in the field of criminal law, with an emphasis on financial crime, money laundering, fraud, corruption, criminal organizations, etc. Marc represents clients both in front of local and federal criminal courts.

Marc has gathered extensive experience in international legal assistance in criminal, civil and administrative matters, and recent cases have involved France, Italy, Belgium Spain, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Marc also advises companies, individuals and governments bodies on general aspects of their day to day life in Switzerland, from structuring/purchase of the company to more general and daily matters with an emphasis on employment matters.

  • Representation of clients in various banking law litigations;
  • Representing a foreign government in local litigations;
  • Advising foreign government (directly or through diplomatic missions) as well as multi-national companies in Swiss employment matters, including mass redundancies and employment-related aspects of restructuration of activities;

  • Lead counsel in defense of a very prominent foreign press agency in media law case;
  • Assisting multi-national companies and foreign  university in immigration law matters;
  • Lead counsel in defending financial intermediary in administrative litigation against Swiss Financial regulatory body;
  • Regulatory advice to financial an multi-national companies (anti money-laundering, stock-exchange etc. legislations);
