Our work covers all typical issues associated to the energy sector. Our practice is built around regulatory matters, and we assist our clients for all contractual and structuration aspects of their projects, as well as for all litigation needs.

We are very active in electricity production projects, in particular for solar farms and wind farms, as well as for electricity transport, local distribution and procurement.

We also give advice in relation to all sort of environmental issues, such as source water protection, clean air, contaminated land and toxic sites, non-ionizing radiation, emission trading, etc.

We publish and are invited as speakers on a regular basis to address the latest topics, and work on a regular basis with Cantonal and Federal agencies.

  • Procurement of electricity by Swiss communes and state-owned entities;
  • Assisting owners of renewable electricity producers regarding the off-take regulated pricing;
  • Creation of microgrids;
  • Disputes related to the pricing of heat procurement;
  • Zoning, construction and eminent domain proceedings in relation to power lines and stations;
  • Construction permit for wind farms;
  • Advising private entities in relation to electricity procurement on the liberalized market (> 100 Gwh p.a.);
  • Advising private entities regarding the possibilities to return to the regulated market, for which local electricity distributors have a monopoly;
  • Trading of carbon certificates.
