Gabriel Freitas is a Trainee Lawyer within our Geneva Office. He studied law at the University of Geneva and completed an exchange semester at the University of Montreal.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in law from the University of Geneva, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Studies in legal professions. His Master’s thesis focused on share buybacks in the context of SPACs, offering a comparative analysis between Swiss and U.S. law.

His exchange at the University of Montreal allowed him to become familiar with the Canadian legal system, which combines elements of both common law and civil law.

During his academic journey, Gabriel gained experience in a prestigious international law firm.

Gabriel joined the Chabrier team in November 2025 as a trainee lawyer.
